Testing Services Provided

Often, an Architect, Civil Engineer, General and flooring contractors are well versed in the specification and installation practices of non static control flooring systems. However, expertise is required in developing ESD safe protocols which reflect ANSI level standards for the validation of both static dissipative and conductive flooring. RMV will recommend and perform evaluations for grounding, resistance to a groundable point, point to point resistance, resistance in combination with a person and voltage in combination with a person. In addition, RMV can map the floor's performance to various voltage levels.

Static Control flooring can represent a capital expenditure so it is important to outline clear-cut benchmarks for the flooring contractor and installation company. RMV can specify requirements and evaluate a flooring company's product before and after installation.

Materials Test & Evaluation (MT&E)

• Emerging materials (CNT, IDP, ICP) test and evaluation for ESD analysis
• In premixed applications of multiwall carbon nanotube composites (CNT), test and evaluation of the electrical conductivity of the plastic material
• Specialized Applications ESD testing
• Development of unique fixturing for small profile test methodologies
