Bob
developed advanced ESD technology that has been issued a US Patent and
several patents pending. In addition, Bob has developed a NASA Mars
Mission Approved ESD
technology. He
received the AmeriStar Award in the Electronic Category for 2002.
Bob
sets up ESD Management Programs to meet corporate ESD requirements,
Certificate of Compliance programs for products, specification writing,
facility layout, ESD training and on site testing. Bob writes Corporate
and Divisional ESD Program Manuals focusing on factory issues, materials
and packaging qualification procedures for major organizations such as:
General Motors, Seagate, Kingston Technology, MAXTOR, General Motors, HP
& Compaq, JDS Uniphase, Analog Devices, Intel Corporation, Motorola,
Ford-Visteon, Delphi, On Semiconductor, plus other major electronic,
semiconductor, Fiberoptics, medical and automotive companies.
Bob
has given training seminars and consulted or provided ESD Testing for
Kingston Technology, Texas Instruments, General Motors, Intel, Kingston Technology, Altera, ALZA,
Hewlett-Packard, WYLE, (Atlas), Johnson & Johnson, Motorola (On Semiconductor), Ericsson,
Altera, IRETEX, Intel, MAXTOR, SEAGATE, St. Jude Medical and HP &
Compaq. Bob had been a Board of Director Member for the Silicon Valley
EOS/ESD Society (SIVA) for five years and currently serves proudly as a
Member of the ESD Association Standards Committee.
Bob
was the AmeriStar Award Winner for the Best Electronic Design for 2002.
Bob’s has been extensively published in major trade magazines
with recent articles in A2C2
Magazine (June 05) and Conformity Magazine (August & September 05).
Bob
is a Guest Lecturer and conducts ESD Seminars for the

of Industrial Technology

Bob has conducted ESD Certification Seminars in
Taiwan,
Singapore, USA, Mexico, Malaysia

China
. In
June 2000 & 2002, Bob was a guest speaker at the 7th &
9th Annual International
Conference for Inherently Conductive Polymers.
As
an Eagle Scout, Bob enjoys horses, US Forestry Equestrian Unit
Activities, fresh water fishing, woodworking, bird watching and
travel. His home is a registered National Wildlife Federation Habitat.
Bob is a also a member of the National Radio and
Telecommunications Engineers. Bob is one of approximately 300 NARTE
Certified ESD Engineers worldwide. Bob
is a member of the American Legion, Disabled Veterans of America, Disabled Veterans Business Alliance,
the American Council of
Independent Labs (ACIL), International Union of Independent Laboratories
and a Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) with the Institute of
Packaging Professionals (IOPP). Bob was recently named to the Editorial
Advisory Board of Controlled Environments Magazine (formerly A2C2). Bob
has a B.S. Degree in Engineering.
