Validation for ESD/ESA in Controlled Environments

RMV high technology engineering services include validation of wafer fabs (ISO Class 3 to ISO Class 8), in-process, robotics and machine centers for the electronics, semiconductor, telecommunications, disk drive, aerospace/defense, space technology, automotive, consumer electronics, medical device, pharmaceutical/drug delivery  and bank card sectors.

Our leadership team of engineering and scientific experts provide test and evaluation of advanced materials, white paper publications, training on the University level and R&D product development support for Academia and Industry.  In the area of ESD/EMC test and evaluation and troubleshooting, our staff conducts electrostatic mapping of  fields and events in real time with advanced software and instrumentation for equipment, machine centers, robotics and in-process validation.

Our Validation Services include materials, flexible packaging and consumables for the cleanroom, sterile environments and contract manufacturing (CM) for the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Validation can be performed on-site at the RMV NASA-Ames laboratory or your facility with our easy-to-transport state of the art equipment (factory calibrated with full traceability) to assure accuracy and the most current procedures for our customer requirements.

With the use of advanced instrumentation by leading experts in the field, RMV can validate to industry and corporate standards in compliance with ESDA, ISO, EIA, ASTM or in compliance with your application specific requirements for your Industry Standards Group.

RMV has the leading team of advanced materials, equipment and device level experts with state of the art instrumentation and ‘know how’ to develop your ESD corporate level documents reflecting ‘best practices’ for your Industry and your specific product applications. You Industry Documents can be developed, revised or updated according to ANSI/ESD, IEC, EIA, ISO, ASTM, Military Standards or to specific requirements where Industry Standards have not been developed.

RMV also reviews Corporate Level ESD documents for your existing documentation. With the rapid development of new products in the marketplace with ultra-sensitive devices, there is an increased need for NEW Industry Standards Development. Because RMV develops specific test methods that are reliable, repeatable and defensible, our technology engineers can develop more robust and application specific Industry Standards to support your Industry Sector.

RMV can also develop a specific ESD Program Document to reflect 'best practices for your manufacturing program as outlined in the ANSI/ESD S20.20 (2007) basic program document which is equivalent to IEC-61340-5-1 for companies that follow the IEC technology roadmap for sensitive devices.
