Dustoff 40 Dot Com is the home for Steve Vermillion's latest book entitled:  DUSTOFF--No Compromise!  No Rationalization!  No Hesitation!  Fly the Mission.  DUSTOFF is a collection of Steve's experiences flying unarmed aeromedical evacuation helicopters in Vietnam during 1969.

Flying along with Steve on one hairy mission after another, the reader's heartbeat will join in harmony with the crew, building to a crescendo as enemy automatic weapons target his helicopter upon touchdown in an open rice paddy or while leaving a tight jungle "hover hole".  Steve brings the reader right into the helicopter as the crew attempts a hazardous extraction from a mountain top at night and in bad weather.  When the crew performs a night non-secure hoist mission, you will feel the tension in the voices of the crew and you will hear their labored breathing as they hoist seven soldiers up through triple canopy jungle into the helicopter.

This book is truly a story of "No Compromise, No Rationalization, No Hesitation--Fly the Mission" despite the hostiles lurking in the landing zone--and at home base!
