ESD/EMI Materials, Packaging & Composites Verification & Qualification Testing
Industry Standards include ANSI/ESD S20.20, ASTM and IEC. ESD Best practices widely marketed as technical reports are not traceable to ANSI/ESD Standards and are only verifiable in the factory without traceability outside the EPA. NASA-STD 8739.6B, Section 7 is the leading ESD Standard required by NASA and support contractors. Relevant ANSI/ESD Standards are included that meet low RH and harsh environments also known as the "retail environment" for Industry.

Some of What We Test in the RMV Lab at NASA
The basis for ESD Performance starts with the Raw Material. Materials that we test, evaluate, troubleshoot for product and R&D support include raw materials, films, polymerics, aircraft composites, consumables (metalized, antistats, conductive, insulative, resins, pellets, liquids, aerosols, paints, epoxy coatings, flooring, garments, adhesives, 3D materials, CNTs, ICPs, IDPS, carbon fibre and related engineered materials.
In Lab and On-Site Qualification Testing
ESD Standard Test Methods include ANSI/ESDA S20.20, IEC, ASTM, NASA, MIL.STDs. Application-specific testing for new and emerging technologies lowers the risk of failure for compliance in low RH and harsh environments. NASA-STD-8739.6B is the leading document developed for land, air, sea and space where product reliability is at risk of failure or personnel safety in harsh environments or volatile conditions.
