Our team of Industry leading Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) is the most powerful asset for RMV Technology Group LLC, a NASA Industry Partner and proven resource for Space & Defense, support contractors, Fortune 100 companies and Academia.
In 2010, Bob Vermillion, RMV CEO/Founder was the first to present to the NASA Quality Leadership Forum of suspect counterfeit materials and packaging infiltrating the DoD global supply chain. Thereafter, Vermillion in collaboration with Exemplar Global, the independent certification body and member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) developed the unique iNARTE® Space & Defense training program with certification by the leading NASA and DoD adopted body, initially for NASA ESD Program Managers. Very soon thereafter the RMV/Exemplar Global collaboration expanded to the DoD, DOE, Academia and Industry for iNARTE® training programs.
Since 2018, the RMV leadership team has trained not only hundreds of Space & Defense professionals but also Industry for ESD compliance of product reliability and integrity in low RH and harsh environments. The iNARTE® training programs not only improve, but also disruptively challenge Government and Industry (ANSI/ESD, ASTM, IEC, ESD related Military Standards) for ESD packaging, storage, handling, transport, kitting and Incoming Inspection.
Globally recognized as a pioneer in the arena of electrostatics, Vermillion has developed a series of innovative technology-focused courses to provide solutions beyond Industry Standards of acceptance for compliance in harsh environments. The benchmark for product failure by NASA, DoD, DOE and Industry (Medical Device and Healthcare) are all subjected to harsh environments to ensure product reliability and integrity.
Widely published in peer reviewed articles. Vermillion addresses current issues of product reliability that claim ESD compliance although problematic to Industry or Government by keeping things as they are, whether driven by comfort, fear of change or bias toward outdated Industry Standards or unvetted practices. Vermillion offers purposeful solutions from the RMV laboratory, the largest and most advanced materials testing facility on a NASA site.
OUR STORY
Since 2009, RMV Technology Group LLC, a NASA Industry partner, is located onsite at NASA Ames Research Center. The only SDVOSB hispanic-owned, small business at NASA Ames, Bob Vermillion, CEO/Founder was named ESD Technical Authority for the Agency in 2018.
Pushing beyond the limits is the hallmark for RMV success and leadership. Slow to adopt technology for ESD products, materials and packaging solutions by some government and Industry sectors "that we have always done it this way" sets back the mission for NASA and muniton projects for the DoD.
Most recently, the challenge from business and government leadership is to find purposeful solutions to ongoing problems. Product reliability of device-driven hardware for the US military and Healthcare are some of the biggest challenges today. Handling, transport and storage of volatile materials in harsh environments requires a formal qualification process. No longer can one rely on a Vendor's Technical Data Sheet due to non-conformance and suspect counterfeiting in the supply chain.
The RMV leadership team provides innovative technology-focused iNARTE® certified courses for the engineer, technician, quality and procurement professional. Solutions for product reliability and integrity in harsh environmental conditions must be met not only on land, air, sea and space for NASA and the DoD, but also for medical device manufacturers, drug delivery organizations and wearables expected to double expansion in the next few years for the patient, consumer, law enforcement, astronaut and soldier in-theatre.
