First to Present and First to Publish on Suspect Counterfeit and Non-Compliant ESD Materials and Packaging in the DoD supply chain, Bob Vermillion is widely published in peer-reviewed articles on materials and packaging for the protection of EEE parts and components including NASA GIDEP.
Technology today is way in front of federal programs and projects in technical specifications needed to protect sensitive component thresholds that may be less than 50 volts. For mission critical requirements, this long ignored detail is critical for protection of the EEE part or component.
During the "hands on" and instrument driven workshop, Bob Vermillion will review some very recent case histories from onsite supplier audits as well as testing conducted in the RMV (NASA approved) laboratory onsite at NASA Ames Research Park.
Nationally recognized as the leading ESD Materials Testing Laboratory, RMV is frequently called upon for Electrostatics SME when products fail or when Corrective Actions are needed to meet Federal or Industry Audits and to verify customer supplier materials that provide only Tech Data Sheets or outdated test data.
